Internet Multicasting Service

The Internet Multicasting Service was the Internet's first radio station. With headquarters in the National Press Building and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., the nonprofit station operated from 1993-1995.

Known as Internet Talk Radio (“The Flame of the Internet!”), Internet Multicasting provided live streams from the floor of the House and Senate, streamed National Press Club Luncheons, was a member of the Public Radio Satellite System, created original programming, and broadcast numerous live events.
